By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
- Who we are: JuriGram (India) operating the JuriGram platform in India.
- What we do: Provide a technology platform to discover legal information, ask public questions, request consultations, and order legal services from independent advocates.
- Intermediary role: We are an online intermediary/facilitator under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable rules. We are not a law firm and do not practice law.
The Services & Our Role
- Public Q&A: Users may post legal questions publicly. Advocates may respond for general information only. No attorney–client relationship is formed through public interactions.
- Private consultations / orders: You may request one‑to‑one consultations or document services. Any engagement terms, scope, and deliverables are established directly between you and the assigned advocate.
- Marketplace model: We facilitate discovery, communication, scheduling, payments, and feedback. Advocates are independent professionals responsible for their advice and services.
- Moderation: We may moderate or remove content for safety, quality, or legal compliance but are not obligated to monitor all content.
Eligibility & Accounts
- You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use the Services. If not, use is permitted only with parent/guardian supervision.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and all activity under your account.
- Provide accurate information and keep it updated. We may suspend accounts for suspected misuse, fraud, or policy violations.
- Advocates must provide truthful KYC/enrollment details and comply with applicable bar rules and professional obligations.
Public Q&A & Content Visibility
Public posts (questions, answers, comments, attachments you mark public) are visible to others and may be indexed by search engines. Avoid sharing personal, sensitive, or case‑identifying information in public content. We may edit for formatting, moderate, or remove content at our discretion.
Posting content on the platform grants JuriGram a worldwide, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute such content to operate and improve the Services. You retain ownership of your content.
Advocates — Independent Professionals
- Advocates use JuriGram to offer services independently; no employment, partnership, or agency is created with JuriGram.
- Advocates must comply with all applicable laws, professional standards, conflict checks, and confidentiality obligations.
- Any advice provided in public Q&A is generic and educational. It does not constitute a legal opinion or create a lawyer–client relationship.
- For private matters, you should enter into a clear scope/fee understanding with the advocate before work begins.
Payments, Pricing & Refunds
- Processors: Payments are handled by third‑party processors. We do not store full card numbers.
- Fees & taxes: Prices are shown inclusive/exclusive of taxes as indicated. You are responsible for applicable taxes and charges.
- Platform fees: Where applicable, platform/processing fees are non‑refundable, except where required by law.
- Refunds: For services not performed or materially deficient, refunds may be considered on a case‑by‑case basis in coordination with the advocate, subject to the service scope already delivered and applicable law.
- Disputes: Contact support@JuriGram.com within a reasonable time with order details; we may facilitate resolution but final responsibility for professional service quality rests with the advocate.
User Obligations & Acceptable Use
Do not use the Services to:
- violate law, court orders, or third‑party rights;
- post unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or hateful content; or incite violence;
- harass, dox, or disclose others’ personal/sensitive data without consent;
- upload malware, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or disrupt the platform;
- infringe intellectual property or misuse confidential information;
- circumvent payment flows or engage in fraud;
- post public content that contains private case details or third‑party identities without permission.
We may remove content or restrict accounts for violations. Serious or repeated breaches may be reported to authorities.
Intellectual Property & Licenses
- Our IP: The JuriGram name, logos, site design, and software are owned by or licensed to us and protected by law. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without permission.
- Your content: You represent that you own or have rights to publish the content you post. You grant JuriGram a limited license to host and display it as described above.
- Take‑downs: If you believe content infringes your rights, email support@JuriGram.com with details; we will review and act as appropriate.
Ratings & Reviews
Users may leave ratings/reviews to share genuine experiences. Reviews must be fair, lawful, and based on actual interactions. We may remove spam, fake, paid, or abusive reviews.
Third‑Party Services & Links
The Services may link to third‑party websites or use third‑party integrations (e.g., payments, analytics, communications). We do not control and are not responsible for third‑party content or practices. Use them at your own discretion and review their terms and privacy policies.
Disclaimers — No Legal Advice
- JuriGram is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Public content is for general information only.
- We do not guarantee outcomes, accuracy, or completeness of content posted by users or advocates.
- Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JuriGram (India) and its directors, officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from or related to your use of the Services. Our aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of (i) the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim, or (ii) INR 5,000.
Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless JuriGram (India) from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your content, your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.
Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for policy/legal violations, suspected fraud, non‑payment, prolonged inactivity, or technical/security risks. You may stop using the Services at any time. Certain provisions survive termination, including IP licenses (for already‑published public content), disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnity.
Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Gujarat, India for all disputes arising out of or relating to the Services.
Notices & Contact
Legal notices and queries may be sent to support@JuriGram.com. Until a dedicated Grievance Officer is appointed and published, this is the single point of contact for user communications regarding the Services.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our Services or legal requirements. The date at the top indicates the latest revision. Material changes may be notified in‑product or via email (where feasible). Your continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Miscellaneous
- Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.
- No waiver: Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
- Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign to an affiliate or successor.
- Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays outside our reasonable control.
- Entire agreement: These Terms plus referenced policies constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services.
