Our Ask Your Lawyer feature is public by design. Anything you submit there (questions, comments, attachments you choose to make public) may be visible to others and searchable online. Please avoid sharing personal, sensitive, or case-identifying information in public posts. If your matter is confidential, use private channels or paid consultations instead.
Advocates are responsible for ensuring that any information they post does not breach client confidentiality or applicable professional standards. Public content may be moderated for quality and safety, but we do not guarantee review of all content.
Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data we process, including encryption in transit, access controls, logging, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; you use the Services at your own risk.
