The Consumer Protection Act, 2019 is a central law enacted to protect consumer rights in India. It replaced the Consumer Protection Act of 1986 and introduced provisions such as e-commerce regulation, product liability, and mediation, along with the establishment of the Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA).
